but this is mostly how we felt
(this is me thinking: who was it again that suggested we elope? i'm beginning to understand the logic now.... And Peter reading my mind and thinking, "i told you so!")
Wedding's are hectic and crazy (no matter how much you plan for it to be simple and easy) and this one was particularly HOT on top of everything else. Upwards of 106 degrees and 80% humidity.
At the last minute most all of our decorations -all our Most Favorite Decorations (that we'd been collecting and saving for the past 2 years)- just vanished into thin air. Never to be seen again. Even to this day. For reals. i had to have 5 minutes alone in my room with my mister/fan to accept this sad fact, but! We did it, and it was good, and now back to our normal lives.
